Wavenet has supplied telecommunications services to privately-owned multi-franchise car dealer group All Electric Garages for nine years - originally setting up a cost-effective Lines & Calls package and then introducing 08 numbers and a call monitoring facility.

All Electric Garages enjoys reduced cost line rental and telephone calls, plus free calls between its sites in Kidderminster, Halesowen and Birmingham.

Using non-geographic fixed rate 08 numbers helps All Electric Garages to target its advertising spend more accurately, since this service enables it to determine which campaigns/newspapers are generating the best response.

Wavenet also introduced All Electric Garages to a free fax to PC service, whereby incoming faxes are received at nominated PCs and printed as required - saving on stationery and the cost of a designated telephone line - plus PC2text, a web-based facility which is ideally suited to service industries.

With PC2text All Electric Garages can contact customers to remind them that their car is booked in for servicing or their MOT is due, for example, by sending SMS text messages from its office PCs via the Internet. Multiple messages can be queued to go out at a future date and time, while information is conveyed quickly and easily and customers can call back at their convenience once they have read the message.
